This is the third work of the Suijin (Water God) series that won both the silver and bronze awards in two different categories at the ADC 102nd Annual Awards for international advertising in New York.

In this work OHGUSHI tried bright golden pigment as a new painting material.

The dragon god’s expression of wrath represents its power to repel evil that has befallen the people and give them blessings, while reminding the artist of his weak heart, thus challenging him.

本作は2023年度N,Y ADC賞にて、銀賞・銅賞の二冠を達成した水神シリーズの第３作目となります。

画材の面では鮮やかな黄金の顔料に挑戦しました。

憤怒した表情は、人々に降りかかる邪気を追い、また金龍のご利益を与える神として描きました。

一方、その表情は作者自身の弱さを奮い立たせる自戒の念を込めています。
