Inspired by ukiyo-e, the hair is depicted with delicate lines that convey the feeling of each individual strand. I used my brush to portray the fluid, uniform beauty Hair line born from the techniques of master craftsmen.
I used strokes of about 25cm with a flat brush to try to leave traces of each individual hair in the brush. I wanted to get the flat look of ukiyo-e, so I drew the outline of the hairstyle as well, which I don't usually do.
